TV programme

These are the three programs that look. I know that may seem a little freak. ‘’Mujeres y hombres y viceversa ‘’ is a program to make telecinco. This program is about pretending to be a boys or girls who have won a boy or girl. The purpose of this program is to find love. In the end it shows that everything is set up. The program began three years ago.

Gran Hermano is a program that began in 2000. The program is about some participants who enter into house and have to overcome together. These participants are recorded by cameras 24 hours a day. It’s a program that has me very striking.

¿ Quién quiere casarse con mi hijo ? The program is about five singles looking for love of his life. As the weeks go by singles and their mothers must be discarded to the suitors until only one remains.

Stress

Mother of God,
Approaching the end of the second quarter and we are very stressed. We spend the day studying studying and studying and not think about anything else. We head explode!
Many people say that student life is the best but I think not. Now we expect a very tough year. Whenever it reaches the final term was all very stressed, are angry and we can’t say anything. This is called stress. This week I’ve been sick two days and I have two skipped exams. Now I do the day of exams and test that I skipped.
It’s obvious when we have exams because we aren’t in facebook. When you connect to facebook and don’t see anyone in your class because you can star worrying because it means you have some exams.
I already feel like the stress that end. I’m looking forward to summer arrives. I feel like the end of the stress and let us calm.

Advertisements

Many people think the advertisements that appear on TV are boring. I think advertisements are beautiful. When I was young they did so many advertisements on TV. The advertisements came out you were fun, exciting and you have song that hook you spend all day singing them. However, now advertisements do boring, are long lasting too.

I searched YouTube and found the two advertisements that make me excited a lot. The two advertisements are for Coca Cola. Coca Cola’s advertisements are always very very nice. The first advertisement is about life, about a very old man and a newborn girl. The man tells the newborn to enjoy life and trouble that nonsense. The second advertisement is beautiful is about a mother who can’t find work and his son was talking to a boss because his mother could find work.

Romeo and Juliet

The role of fate

I think in Shakespeare’s time, people believe in the power of fate and in the power of the stars.
For example in the story:
  • After their marriage, Romeo doesn’t want to fight Tybalt but after Mercutio death. Romeo takes revenges and kills Tybalt.
  • The letter sent by Friar Lorenzo never reached Romeo.
  • Friar Lorenzo arrives too late no stop Romeo from killing herself and finally Juliet awake only minutes after Romeo has died.
  •  Romeo and Juliet fall in love before they realize that they are from rival families.
  • It’s only because the Capulet servant isn’t able to read the last of invited guess, Romeo attends the dance and this moment he meets Juliet.

In conclusion fate is the most important role in the history because in Shakespeare’s time, people believe in the fateful power of the stars.

Juliet and Nurse.

This relationship is very complicated because Nurse is the typical characters who protects Juliet.
Juliet loves Romeo and Nurse helps Romeo and Juliet. Juliet and Nurse are friends because they have been a long time together and Juliet speaks a lot with Nurse
Sometimes Nurse is like a mother to Juliet because she looks after her.
Nurse is a very funny person because she lie Capulet’s family because Juliet founds Romeo.
In conclusion Nurse and Juliet have a good relationship because Nurse is sometimes like a mother.

The things that man hate women.

The things that man hate women.

Although it seems incredible things men hate women. I wanted the most important:

  1. That they don’t respect their personal space.
  2. That they are jealous.
  3. That they are too sentimental.
  4. So that they go shopping.
  5. Those women are insecure.
  6. Let them talk nonstop.
  7. That they are criticized endlessly.

As we can see there are things that women hate men. I think both men and women speak different languages. Men don’t understand us because they only understand the language easier. In woman we like men who know we care.

The 15 things that women hate men

The 15 things that women hate men

  1. They don’t close your toothpaste.
  2. They are victims.
  3. They cancel dating to see a football game with friends.
  4. They will not let us choose the movie.
  5. They don’t call in a long time
  6. They dot the toilet lid.
  7. They are unpunctual.
  8. They talk about their ex girlfriend.
  9. They don’t realize that we have arranged.
  10.  They think they are the only ones ho know ho to drive.
  11. They spit on the floor… It’s revolting!
  12.  They don’t ever explain details of things.
  13. They don’t iron.
  14.  They eat with their mouths open.
  15.  They believe that only women can pluck.

Better leave it here. After the men say women are complicated. With this list it’s clear men are not perfect. The problem is that they believe are perfect.

Oscar statues auctioned for $3m

The 15 Oscars up for sale at Nate D Sanders auction houseThe sale illustrated how the design of the Oscar statuette has changed over time
A collection of 15 Oscar statues sold for more than $3m (£1.8m) at an auction in Los Angeles, just two days after the Academy Awards took place.
The iconic gold trophies went under the hammer despite members of the Academy protesting against the sale.
Normally, winners are banned from selling their awards, but these prizes were handed out before that rule came into place, in 1950.
The sale included Oscars for the films Wuthering Heights and Citizen Kane.
The highest bid in the online auction went to Herman Mankiewicz's Oscar, which he won in 1941 for the screenplay to Citizen Kane.
The award, which had previously been sold in 1999 by Christie's auction house, fetched $588,455 (£369,556).
Last year, Orson Welles' Academy Award for the same film sold for $861,542 (£541,083).
The 1934 best picture Oscar, which was presented for the Noel Coward adaptation Cavalcade, went for $332,165 (£208,597).
In a statement the Academy said: "Members and the many film artists and craftspeople who've won Academy Awards believe strongly that Oscars should be won, not purchased,"
"Unfortunately, because our winners agreement wasn't instituted until 1950, we don't have any legal means of stopping the commoditisation of these particular statuettes."
The 1950 agreement is still signed by all Academy winners. It states that Oscar statuettes can only be sold back to the Academy for the nominal sum of $1 (63p).

This news affects me a lot because I’ve always followed the Oscars gala. I now know that the statues sold. I think this is not done. The statues are very important for any player. Lucky that now is not because if not would watch the Oscars gala anymore. It’s amazing I can’t understand how people have to buy a prize that has a house and know it’s not his.

Titian masterpiece Diana and Callisto saved for nation

Titian's Diana and Callisto has been saved for the nation after a £45m ($71.7m) deal was agreed with owner the Duke of Sutherland.
Titian's Diana and Callisto was owned by the Duke of Sutherland

The "supremely important" oil painting was bought with the help of £25m ($39.9m) from the National Gallery after a lengthy fundraising campaign.
Along with partners National Galleries of Scotland, they also saved sister piece Diana and Actaeon in 2009.
Both galleries hailed the "exceptional generosity" of donors.
The two pieces will be displayed together on a rotating basis in London and Edinburgh.
Titian's Diana and Actaeon was purchased three years ago for £50m ($79.7m). The institutions had originally been given until the end of the year to raise money for the second work.

National Gallery director Dr Nicholas Penny said: "For more than 100 years, these two great paintings by Titian have been regarded as pre-eminent among the masterpieces in private hands in the UK. "We have been able to secure both of them for the public, in a period of economic hardship, because of the esteem and affection that both institutions have enjoyed for many decades."
The BBC's arts editor Will Gompertz said seeing the paintings split up "after nearly half a millennium of being together would have been a huge loss in terms of art history and the British public's ability to enjoy these two great paintings".
He added: "For the UK's national galleries to have seen Diana and Callisto leave the country would be like Italy waving goodbye to Michelangelo's David."

The companion pieces were produced in the 1500s by the Renaissance artist and are considered to be among his greatest works.
They are among six large-scale works, painted for Philip II of Spain, that were inspired by the Roman poet Ovid.
Diana and Callisto depicts a nymph, impregnated by the god Jupiter, being expelled by the goddess.
£5m reduction
The two Titian paintings form part of the Duke of Sutherland's Bridgewater Collection - featuring works by Raphael, Rembrandt and Poussin - which has been on loan to the National Galleries of Scotland since 1945.
The galleries said the Duke had offered the two paintings at prices "significantly lower than their market value" - estimated to be around a half to a third of what they would be worth on the open market.
National Gallery trustees allocated £25m from its charitable reserves, principally gained from legacies left by members of the public over the past century.
The rest of the money came from the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Art Fund and individual donors and trusts.
Unlike the public appeal the galleries launched to save Diana and Actaeon, the two galleries said they decided against asking for a government grant or public help to raise money for the second painting "during such difficult economic times".
"We have used these reserves before, but never on this scale, and no purchase ever made by the National Gallery has begun to approach the magnitude of this acquisition," Dr Penny said.
He added that the gallery had "very little" of its £32m reserve left for future acquisitions - as much of the remainder has been bequeathed for specific uses, such as education.
Dr Penny said he anticipated being asked why a UK national gallery was spending such large sums to acquire works by a foreign painter.
"If you lined up [British artists] Gainsborough, Turner and Constable, not only would they feel that this was a very great day but they would also admit they would not have been the artists they were had it not been for Titian.
"We do have quite a few. But that to me is a question rather similar to, 'there is one play by Shakespeare, do you really need any other ones?'"
John Leighton, director-general of the National Galleries of Scotland, said the risk that the money might not have been raised and the painting would be sold overseas was "a very real one".
"For us in Scotland this has always been about a battle to hold on to what I would describe as our triple AAA status as a great art collection and one of the great European art galleries," he said.
"From today these great paintings belong to the British public and we could not be more thrilled that they will be available for the enjoyment, the education, and the inspiration for generations to come," he added.
Diana and Callisto will be displayed in London for 18 months from Thursday.
It will be joined by Diana and Actaeon - currently on a regional tour - in July. Both will then go on show in Scotland and be the centrepiece of a special display in Edinburgh to coincide with the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Well, I think this news affects me because I love art history. When I saw this news I wanted more information about the work. This picture I study in the history of art. I think it’s a fantastic work.

Voley!

Today we won!

Recently I played with Vilajuïga. A few days ago he team as disbanded and I went to another team. Raquel, Laia and I went to Figueres. Two weeks ago play with Figueres. At the moment I do not like so much because the girls look bad. I think that they don’t like what we’ve come. They don’t want us there we get the place. We don’t want that. We want to be part of a team, nothing more.

However, today we have won! Last week we were playing in Granollers and we won. Today was a very interesting game because the other girls were very good.

I missed a lot the other team. We were a good team, I thought we were together. The problem is that nobody came to rain. There wasn’t commitment and we couldn’t continue. We cried a lot because they wanted an end.

Now I play with Figueres and is very different, I hope that things will improve J

The Woman in Black

A few days ago I went to the cinema with Cristina. Long ago that wasn’t going to the cinema. We go to the cinema of Roses. We did not know what movie to see. In the end we went to see The woman in Black as the protagonist was Harry Potter. It was horrible. We spend a lot of fear. We watch very little while the movie. The movie was about a man who has to sell a house is haunted. In the village don’t stop children dying. And a lot of fear! Now I leave the trailer, I thought it would be a movie mystery of murder but found I was wrong.

My future

Last Friday we went to the University of Girona. We left school at 8 am and we arrived in Girona at 9 am. Andrea went to talk on art history. Cristina and I went to a talk on teaching because when I grow up I want to be a teacher.
I’ve always been very clear that I wanted to be a teacher. The mark for entry is very high. I’ve been thinking a lot I tried many careers available. I studied Catalan Philology because I like Catalan and Catalan literature. Besides the note is only 5.
I think I must study a hard to go to University of Girona. I am really keen to leave school because I’m tired. Every day I see the same people, same class, same teachers and I’m tried. I think if I go to the University of Girona is another world.  I shall know new people.
Before all this, I approve secondary school and to the selectivity. I am very scared because I’m always nervous. I hope that everything goes much better now.
